Authors Guidelines

The Global Journal of Medical and Pharmaceutical Sciences (GJMPS) is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access journal committed to publishing high-quality scientific research in medical sciences, pharmaceutical sciences, biomedical sciences, clinical research, healthcare innovations, and interdisciplinary scientific fields.

Authors are invited to submit original and unpublished manuscripts that fall within the aims and scope of the journal. All submissions undergo editorial screening followed by a rigorous peer-review process to ensure scientific quality, originality, ethical compliance, and academic relevance.


General Submission Requirements

Before submitting a manuscript, authors must ensure that:

  • The manuscript is original and has not been published elsewhere.

  • The manuscript is not under consideration by another journal.

  • All authors have approved the manuscript submission.

  • Ethical approval has been obtained where applicable.

  • Necessary permissions have been secured for copyrighted materials.

  • All conflicts of interest are disclosed.

  • The manuscript follows the journal formatting requirements.

Language

Manuscripts must be written in clear and professional English. Authors are encouraged to ensure grammatical accuracy and scientific clarity before submission.

Short Communications

Word Limit

500–1,000 words.


Title Page Requirements

The title page should include:

  • Full manuscript title

  • Running title

  • Full author names

  • Institutional affiliations

  • Corresponding author details

  • Email address

  • ORCID ID (if available)


Abstract and Keywords

Abstract

The abstract should clearly summarize:

  • Background

  • Objectives

  • Methods

  • Results

  • Conclusion

Abstract Limit

Maximum 250 words.


Keywords

Provide 3–6 keywords relevant to the manuscript.


Tables and Figures

  • Tables and figures must be clearly numbered.

  • Each figure and table should include a descriptive caption.

  • Images must be high resolution.

  • Accepted image formats:

    • JPG

    • PNG

    • TIFF


Ethical Requirements

Research involving human participants or animals must include ethical approval information from a recognized ethics committee.

Authors must confirm:

  • Informed consent

  • Ethical compliance

  • Institutional approval where applicable

Patient confidentiality must be protected at all times.


Conflict of Interest

Authors must disclose any financial or personal relationships that could influence the research.

If none exist, authors should state:

“No conflict of interest declared.”


Funding Statement

All sources of financial support or funding must be disclosed clearly within the manuscript.


Data Availability Statement

Authors should provide information regarding the availability of supporting datasets and supplementary materials.


Plagiarism Policy

The journal follows strict anti-plagiarism policies.

Manuscripts containing:

  • plagiarism

  • duplicate publication

  • fabricated data

  • manipulated images

  • unethical content

may be rejected immediately.

All submissions may undergo plagiarism screening before peer review.

Authors may use Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools only for supportive purposes such as:

AI tools cannot be listed as authors.

Authors remain fully responsible for the originality, integrity, and scientific accuracy of submitted manuscripts.

Any substantial AI assistance must be disclosed within the manuscript.

The journal may charge Article Processing Charges (APC) for:
