APC (Publication Fee)

The Global Journal of Medical and Pharmaceutical Sciences (GJMPS) charges an Article Processing Charge (APC) of USD 200 for accepted manuscripts to support the editorial and publication processes associated with high-quality scholarly publishing.

The APC helps cover the costs related to:

  • manuscript handling

  • peer review management

  • editorial processing

  • copyediting and formatting

  • DOI registration

  • website maintenance

  • digital archiving and preservation

  • online publication and indexing services

The journal is committed to maintaining high-quality, accessible, ethical, and globally available scholarly publishing standards.

APC Policy

Article Processing Charges are applicable only after a manuscript has successfully completed the peer-review process and has been formally accepted for publication.

Submission of a manuscript does not guarantee acceptance, and payment of APC does not influence editorial decisions.

Editorial decisions are based solely on:

  • scientific quality

  • originality

  • ethical standards

  • relevance to journal scope

APC Amount

Standard APC: USD 200

The APC applies to accepted manuscripts across all article categories unless otherwise specified by the editorial office.

Article Categories

The APC may apply to article categories including:

  • Original Research Articles

  • Review Articles

  • Case Reports

  • Short Communications

  • Editorials

  • Letters to the Editor

Detailed APC instructions and payment procedures will be communicated to authors after final acceptance.

Waiver and Discount Policy

The journal may consider partial or full APC waivers in deserving cases, particularly for:

  • researchers from low-income countries

  • students or early-career researchers

  • authors with genuine financial constraints

  • invited manuscripts or special issues

Waiver requests should be submitted to the editorial office before or during the peer-review process.

Approval of waivers is solely at the discretion of the editorial office and publisher.

Payment Policy

APC payments are processed only after final editorial acceptance of the manuscript.

Authors will receive official communication regarding:

  • payment procedures

  • invoice details

  • available payment methods

The journal does not request APC payments during the initial submission or peer-review stages.

Open Access Publishing

Payment of APC supports the journal’s open-access publishing model, ensuring that all published articles are:

  • freely accessible worldwide

  • immediately available online

  • permanently archived and preserved

This promotes wider dissemination, increased research visibility, and greater academic impact within the global scientific community.

Refund Policy

APC payments are generally non-refundable once the publication process has commenced, except in exceptional circumstances determined by the editorial office.

The journal reserves the right to revise APC policies, waiver criteria, and publication fees when necessary.
